Based on Alexy Broadovitch’s typeface Al-Bro, created in 1949. Notes was inspired by the tapered curves of the letterforms and the spherical terminals. The process involved sketching with pen and pencil, development and refinement with Plaka, and then traced on the computer and set into a working font in FontLab.
